Alistair Crowe
Principal tutor. Holds the private sittings and the six-week stretch. Stubborn about weekly structure. Lives near the studio, which is why early London hours are possible in person.
Studio
Cloud Mappoint grew out of Alistair Crowe’s habit of printing the daily before London and refusing to add a line he could not explain to the person sitting next to him. The studio still works that way.
Alistair spent a stretch of his twenties on a junior desk in London where the shared chart was a battleground. Everyone could draw a horizontal. Few could say whether it was a weekly event or a residue of the 8 a.m. range. He left the desk, kept the pencil, and started sitting with traders who wanted the argument without the shouting.
Priya Nair joined after years of keeping her own gilt and FX book from Manchester. She had taken a mapping sitting, then a stretch of weeks, and disliked how often group tuition skips the ugly charts. She now runs the clinic and covers workshops when the table is full.
The studio address is a converted room on Buckingham Road, Thornhaugh, with a printer, a large table, and enough wall for two months of dailies. It is not a trading floor. Visitors who expect blinking boards are steered back to their own screens; the hour is for markup.
We teach one craft: mapping support and resistance so a trader can wait, probe, or stand aside without inventing a new level after every wick. We do not take power of attorney, we do not share in profits, and we do not pass names to brokers. If a sitting starts to sound like a call, we stop and return to the band on the page.
Credentials in this field are easy to inflate. What we can say plainly: both tutors still mark their own charts for markets they actually trade, and they will not sit with a complete beginner who has never placed an order. That boundary keeps the room honest.
Governing work is education. Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation to deal in investments. Maps can be wrong. Size and timing stay with you.

Runs Chart Clinic and assists full workshops. Quicker on gilt and index futures. Less patient than Alistair with four-hour shelves promoted to daily events, which students notice by the second homework.
