Six-Week Mapping Stretch
A six-week stretch of weekly sittings for a trader who wants the mapping habit to settle under live conditions, not in a single afternoon.
A single afternoon can correct a bad line. It rarely corrects the reflex that drew the line in the first place. The six-week stretch exists for that reflex.
Each week the market will have done something rude to the map: a gap through a zone, a wick that looks meaningful on the four-hour and meaningless on the daily, a London range that never tagged the level you waited for. Those events are the syllabus.
Homework is short and specific — redraw the daily after Friday’s close, write three sentences on whether the zone should be widened, name one trade you refused because the map said wait. If that work does not arrive, the next sitting becomes a repair hour.
People sometimes ask for a certificate at the end. Cloud Mappoint does not issue one. What you leave with is a sheet you can defend to yourself on a quiet Tuesday, which is harder to fake.
Who it is for
Traders who can set aside the same weekday for six weeks and who already have a market they will still be trading at the end of the stretch.
What you leave with
A sequence of marked packs showing how your zones evolved as price moved, plus a final level sheet you have rewritten yourself rather than copied.
Scope
Six 60-minute sittings. One market family throughout. Homework between sittings is expected; skipped homework means the next hour is spent catching up, not advancing.
How the time runs
- Week one is a shorter version of the Chart Mapping Session, to set the first map.
- Weeks two to five follow price: you send the updated daily before each sitting; the hour is spent on what held, what broke, and what you mis-drew.
- Week six is yours to present. The tutor’s job is to stop you promoting noise back onto the sheet.
